The facility is reminded that a complete renewal application must be submitted prior to expiration of the license on April 24, 2025. Renewal applications should be submitted through the online portal available on the public website at childcareva.com.
Food preferences for children (ie. vegetarian) should be noted on the allergy/food preference list.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on September 13, 2024 and completed on September 13, 2024, as a part of current licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 7:55am and ended at 8:45am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 25 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site.
This inspection included:
? document review of Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication
administration logs, authorization forms,
? tour of the facility,
? interviews,
? observations of the children playing board games, reading, interacting with the staff.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or
law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A Description: Based on record review of 4 child files, it was determined that the center did not ensure that the separate record for each child enrolled contained all of the required information.
Evidence: The record for child #2 did not contain documentation of work phone numbers for each parent.Plan of Correction: We will get complete parent information for all children going forward.
