Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on January 24 2020 between 9:15am and 12:45 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. 80 children were observed in the direct care of 13 staff members. Children were observed playing outside, eating lunch, being diapered, and washing hands. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Please send questions regarding this new requirement to childlicense@dss.virginia.gov
