Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was offered regarding medications, staff records, background checks. Technical assistance was also offered regarding age appropriate behavior guidance.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:10 am-1:00 pm. 63 children were in care with 12 staff members present. Children were observed engaged in group activities, coloring,outdoor play time, eating lunch and napping.7 staff and 5 children's records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The lunch menu included fish sticks, pears, cole slaw and milk. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on record review, the center did not obtain additional immunization records for children under the age of two years, every six months. Evidence: Child # 1 ( 17 months) most recent immunizations were dated 12/2018. Additional immunizations were not obtained 6 months after that date.
Plan of Correction:
The parents have been asked to bring in additional records.
