Discussed with the program Director, TB screenings, shelter-in-place and physical plant.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:40am-1:10pm. There were 13 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in a group activity and napping. There was an adequate supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. Based on observation, rest mats used by children did not have a bottom cover.
Evidence: During naptime, children were observed on their rest mats without bottom covers.
Plan of Correction:
Rest mats now have covers.
