Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on 01/30/2020 from 9:40am to 12:25pm. The children were observed learning through play in centers, participating in story time and circle time. A formal observation was completed with the Twos and Threes classrooms. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children in each classroom when appropriate. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today.
Eight children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is not being administered. The center?s injury prevention plan was updated 06/2019.
The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 01/06/2020 Last shelter-in-place drill: 06/04/2019 Last fire inspection: 09/10/2019 Last health inspection: 06/18/2019

The violations from the previous inspections were checked for corrections. There were no repeat violations found during today?s inspection.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: 1. The inspector observed two cleaners on a shelf in an unlocked bathroom out of the reach of children in care. 2. The inspector observed a cleaner on a shelf in an unlocked staff bathroom.
