Comments:
Licensing Inspector arrived at 9:50 and departed at 10:30 AM to conduct a religiously exempt child day care compliance inspection. At the time of the inspection, there were 24 preschool aged children with four staff. Additionally, there was a kindergarten class in care. The sample size was eight staff and five children's records.
Based on review of eight staff records, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that all staff have a completed search of the central registry on file within 30 days of employment.
Evidence: The records for staff #4, staff #5 and staff #8 did not contain completed search of the central registry checks.
Plan of Correction:
All checks were submitted in a timely manner, but returned because center director forgot to include the payment. All were resubmitted last week.
