At the time of the inspection, there were 24 preschool aged children with four staff. Additionally, there was a kindergarten class in care. The sample size was eight staff and five children's records. Violations: Standard #: 22VAC40-665-530-2-b Description: Based on review of eight staff records, it was determined that the Vendor did not ensure that all staff have a completed search of the central registry on file within 30 days of employment. Evidence: The records for staff #4, staff #5 and staff #8 did not contain completed search of the central registry checks. Plan of Correction: All checks were submitted in a timely manner, but returned because center director forgot to include the payment. All were resubmitted last week.
