Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/21/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 56 children with 15 staff present. The children were observed engaged in group and circle time activities, playing outdoors and eating lunch. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Based on observation, the center did not develop and implement a written policy and procedure that describes how the center will ensure that each group of children receives care by consistent staff. Evidence: Written documentation of group sizes was not available for review in the 3' and 4's classroom.
Plan of Correction:
Staff will be reminded to develop the group size plan for each classroom.
