An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on 2/28/2020 in response to a complaint received in our office regarding forbidden actions. Based on record review, staff interviews, and a review of the center?s policies, the complaint is unfounded. Other areas of non-compliance have been found are noted on the Violation Notice. Description:
Based on a review of staff records, the center did not deny continued employment of an employee that did not have a central registry finding within 30 days of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff #4 (doh: 12/10/2019) central registry findings on file were dated 1/28/2020.
Plan of Correction:
If we find in the future that the central registry background check is taking longer then 30 days for an employee: we will partner with the central registry office for their support and pause employment if needed.

We will ensure that all staff are sent for fingerprinting and the results received before we extend any employment offer.
