Comments:
An unannounced Code compliance monitoring inspection was conducted today, 10/7/19. Upon arrival to the center the children were busy in each classroom. There are seven classrooms with 42 children ranging in age from one month to 5 years in care with 13 classroom staff and two office staff present. A review of staff and children's records also took place. We discussed MAT training and background checks. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your inspector. Inspection began: 9:15 am and ended 11:40 am.
Based on review of staff records the center failed to have all staff submit to a central registry check within 30 days of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff # 2, 7, 8 do not have a central registry child protective services search. The staff have hire dates of July and August, 2019.
Plan of Correction:
The director will ensure that all staff have a central registry check on file with 30 days of employment.

Description:
Based on review of written information provided to the parent/guardian the center failed to include all the information required. Evidence: 1. The parent handbook did not include information about the enrollment capacity and public liability insurance.

The Director will add these items to the parent handbook.
