Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
Health and Safety inspection was conducted review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 11 children in care with two staff. Children present ranged in age from five to nine years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on review of information provided the center failed to ensure that all staff complete required training. Evidence: The record for staff 1 does not contain any documentation that the required preservice training was completed as required.
