Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 8/19/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 50 children present. The inspector arrived at 6:20 A.M. and departed the program at 8:30 A.M.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on review of seven staff's records, the center failed to ensure that all TB screenings/test were completed within prior to starting the position.
Evidence:
1. Staff # 2 started on 2/18/2019 and the TB test was completed on 4/13/2019.
Plan of Correction:
In the future all TB test/screenings will be completed prior to starting.
