A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on October 11, 2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 10:45am and ended at 1:15pm. There were 8 staff supervising 39 children in 5 classrooms at the time of the visit. The children were observed playing on the playground, reading books, toileting and hand washing, playing with various age appropriate toys, and engaged in music and story time. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, and fire drill logs were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There was medication on sight. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
