Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:25 am to 12:15 pm. At the time of inspectors' arrival there were 4 preschool aged children in care totaling 10 points with the provider. Children were observed participating interacting with the provider, participating in educational activities, art, and transitioning between activities. A sample of 4 children's records and 3 provider/household member/substitute provider records were reviewed. Provider reported that no medications are administered at this time and there have been no injuries. Areas of noncompliance are identified on the violation notice and were discussed with the provider during the exit interview at the conclusion of the inspection.
Based on record review it was determined the provider did not ensure that each child's record contained all of the required components. Evidence: The record for child #2 did not contain the complete address for one of the two required emergency contacts.
Plan of Correction:
Provider will request the emergency contact number from the parent at pick up.
