Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 07/09/2024 from 10:20 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There were 35 children present, ranging in ages from six weeks to five years old with 11 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of records, the center failed to ensure that each staff record contained documentation to demonstrate that the individual possesses the education, certification and experience required by the job position, and orientation and training as required. Evidence: 1. Staff #6 confirmed that Staff #5 was the program leader in the 2-and-a-half-year-old class. Staff #5?s record did not contain documentation that Staff #5 possessed the education, certification and experience required for program leader. 2. Staff #5?s record did not contain 16 hours of annual training for the training year of 11/30/2022 to 11/29/2023. 3. Staff #3?s record did not contain 16 hours of annual training for the training year of 5/25/2023 to 5/25/2024.
