Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 6:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. There were 16 children in care being supervised by 2 staff members. The children were observed participating in cooperative games, structured center play, and eating morning snack. Snack served today is fresh fruit, graham crackers, and milk. Two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight children's records were reviewed and in compliance. One medication was reviewed. There is one person on site who is MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. Based on observation of one medication it was determined that not all procedures for medication were followed. Evidence: The medication for child A had an expiration date of 06/10/2019.
Plan of Correction:
Administration will request new medication from the parents of Child A.
