Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted in conjunction with a monitoring inspection from 6:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. There were 16 children in care being supervised by 2 staff members. Eight children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. An allergy list was reviewed for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. The most recent Lock Down drill was conducted 08/23/2019. Based on review of one children's record it was determined that not all children with diagnosed food allergies had an allergy care plan on file. Evidence: Child A with a diagnosed food allergy did not have an allergy care plan on file.
Plan of Correction:
Administration will request an allergy care plan from the parents of child A.
