Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on July 20, 2022 from 11:00 through 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, there were 72 children in the care of 13 staff. Four children and six staff records were reviewed. No medication is being administered at this time.
Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.

Based on observation, the center failed to follow their policy for hand washing.
Evidence:
1. Diaper changing was observed for three children. 2. Staff was observed not washing the hands of the children or herself after changing the diapers. 3. The director confirmed the hand washing policy for the center.

Handwashing and diapering procedures were reviewed with staff.

Description:
Based on record review, the center failed to obtain fingerprints for two employees prior to beginning work.
1. Six staff records were reviewed. 2. Staff # 1 and Staff #2 did not have documentation of obtaining fingerprints before beginning work. Staff #1 date of hire was documented on 5/11/2022. Staff #2 date of hire was documented on 3/10/2022/ 3. he director confirmed there was no documentation of fingerprints for Staff #1 and Staff #2.
Plan of Correction:
Fingerprint appointments have been scheduled. Documentation has been sent to the licensing inspector. Results will be sent to the licensing inspector once received.
