The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and
monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the
Virginia Department of Social Services. Guidance, resources and training links can be found on the new website childcareva.com.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A code compliance inspection was initiated on 01/12/2022 and concluded on 01/12/2022. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 41 children present and 10 staff present. The inspector reviewed with the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 staff records and 4 children's records to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable code sections. No violations were issued.
