A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 08/04/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 80 children were present with 7 caregivers. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, menus, 5 staff records, 5 child records, 1 medication with corresponding authorization records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed transitioning to new spaces, playing basketball, napping, and eating lunch. There were adequate staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, and DHO training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
