A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 08/18/2023 from 9:50am to 11:50am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, attendance, menus, 8 staff records, 5 children?s records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. There were no medications on site. Children were observed participating in indoor basketball, games, computer time and art. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) and Daily Health Observation (DHO) training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
