Comments:
Today an unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted between the hours of 10:15am and 11:15am. There was one classrooms observed with a total of 20 children with 5 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed listening to story time, washing their hands, eating a morning snack (apples, graham crackers and avocado) and other organized activities. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Based on record review, evidence of insurance coverage could not be made available to the department's representative upon request. Evidence: Upon request, the center did not maintain public liability insurance.

Description:
Based on record review and interview, the center did not maintain a record of the dates of practiced drills. Evidence: There is no record of an evacuation drill being practiced during the month of September. The program teacher stated that a drill was practiced but they had forgotten to document it.

This was corrected during the inspection.
