An unannounced monitoring inspection was done today, September 23, 2019, beginning at 1:30 PM and ending at 5:00 PM. There were 27 children in care today with 8 staff providing care, supervision, and/or other professional staff. There were four medications reviewed. The outside area and all rooms that are used for care were inspected, as were five children's records and five staff records. The inspector looked at first aid and emergency supplies, drill documentation, and required health and fire inspections. The children were observed eating snack, hand-washing, and doing homework. There were discussions about training, outlet covers, and first aid kits. The violations were discussed with the staff today. If you have any questions in the future, please contact your inspector, Jensen Mellnick, at (540)309-2051.

2. The street address for emergency contact 2 for Child (3) was not complete.
