An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between approximately 10:05am and 12:20pm. 80 children were directly supervised by 11 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 6 children's records, 4 staff records, evacuation drills, training records, attendance and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. No medications were on site. The space was clean, well organized and contained developmentally appropriate art on the walls and age appropriate materials for child activities. Children were observed eating lunch (cheese quesadillas, carrots, peaches and milk), coming in from outside, preparing for nap and interacting with the staff. Interactions were positive. An ice-cream truck was present for children to get ice-cream throughout the morning. No violations were cited today.
