This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was conducted on 9/8/2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were seven children present, age two months to four years of age, with two caregivers supervising. The Inspector reviewed two children's records, three caregiver records, the emergency drill log, and pet vaccinations to ensure documentation was complete. The Inspector viewed the bathroom, three cribs, and the first aid kit, battery operated flashlight and weather band radio to ensure compliance. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. If you have further questions about this inspection please contact Donna Liberman at 540-359-5244 or Donna.Liberman@dss.virginia.gov.
