Comments:
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place on September 20, 2023 between the hours of approximately 11:30 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. There was 1 classroom observed with a total of 7 children with 2 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing outside, completing a five senses activity and other organized activities. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, the center failed to ensure that all employees submit to fingerprinting and obtain results prior to employment and every five years thereafter.
