Technical Assistance:
Discussion on hand washing and toileting procedures.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 8:30 am to 9:45 am. There were 39 children directly supervised by 7 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected.

Children were observed participating in group play, individual play, and reading books, There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized.

Description: Based on observation, the child day center did not have during the center's hours of operation, one adult on the premises in charge of the administration of the center.
Evidence:
1. Upon Licensing arrival around 8:30 am, the child day center did not have one adult on premises in charge of the administration.

Plan of Correction: Admin schedules will be printed and signed off by everyone to prevent miscommunication

Description: Based on observation, the child day center did not ensure nonprescription drugs and over-the counter skin products shall not be kept or used beyond the expiration date of the product.
Evidence:
1. In the classroom for infants, one child's diaper ointment expired on 12/2001.

Plan of Correction: Diaper ointment was disposed on that day
