Comments:
A unannounced renewal insepction was conducted with the assistant director and staff. 56 children were in care with an age range of nine months to six years old. The inspection time was from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The children were observed during water play, lunch time and free play. The older children were on a field trip. Based on review of five staff records not all were complete.
Evidence: Staff A with a hire date of 7/1/2019 did not have documentation of two references being completed before starting employment.

One reference dated 6/17/2019 was on file the other reference was completed on 7/9/19

Description:
Based on observation not all sunscreens were labeled with the child's name and were not stored inaccessible to the children.
Evidence: In the School Age room there was a bottle of sunscreen sitting on the counter near the sink. The bottle was not labeled with a child's name and was accessible to the children.
Plan of Correction:
All sunscreens were properly labeled the same day of the inspection and stored in a locked container.
