This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on May 26, 2021 and concluded on May 27, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 11:35 a.m. A virtual inspection was then conducted. There were 35 children present ages 3 to 5 years old under the care and supervision of 8 staff. Children were observed during outdoor play, awaiting pick up and during lunch. Lunch is brought from home. Classroom areas were observed. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Emergency drills were up to date.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
