An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 1:10pm- 4:40pm. Appropriate ratios were maintained. Children were observed during naptime, coloring, practicing letters, using maps, and playing outside. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, medications, and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Based on observation, food brought from home was not clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
Evidence: 2 of 3 lunches were observed with no name. 1 of 3 lunches was observed with no date.
Plan of Correction:
We will check lunchboxes each morning to make sure they are labeled with name and date. One lunchbox was corrected during inspection.
