Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:15am-1:15pm. There were 44 children in care with 6 staff members. The children were observed participating in individual learning activities, singing songs, washing hands, toileting, playing outside, and eating their lunches that they brought from home. A sample of 4 children's records, 5 staff records, emergency materials, evacuation drills, the first aid kit, 6 emergency medications, and the physical plant were reviewed. Based on a review of staff records, 1 out of 5 staff did not have a subsequent TB screening at least every 2 years from the date of the initial training. Evidence: 1. Staff #2's last tuberculosis screening was dated 6/2/2017.
Plan of Correction:
We will have the staff member get a new TB screening.
