An announced modification inspection was conducted on 08/20/2020. The modification request that was received in the licensing office requested a change of location. This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
Measurements of all spaces to be used by the children were provided by the facility and will be confirmed by the licensing inspector on the next on-site inspection. The facility representative emailed the inspector required documentation to complete the inspection. No records were reviewed for children or staff at the inspection today. There were no children in care as the facility is not open. Any areas of standards related to direct service that were not determined during the modification inspection will be determined at the first unannounced inspection following the issuance of a modified license.
