Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 07/22/2020 and concluded on 07/27/2020. The Senior Program Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 0 children present and 1 staff. The inspector emailed the Program Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. Two staff records were reviewed to ensure documentation was complete. All children?s records will be completed again when the program hopes to re-open in September 2020. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on staff statement, 1 of 2 employees does not have a Central Registry finding. Evidence: Staff #1 could not locate the Virginia Central Registry search to confirm that the employee's CPS search was conducted within the 30 day time frame.. The information was shared with the Licensing Inspector during the remote renewal inspection.

Based on staff statement, 1 of 2 employees does not have a Central Registry finding.for Out of State address within the past five years. Evidence: Staff #1 could not locate the Out of State Central Registry search to confirm that the employee CPS search was conducted within the 45 day time frame. The information was shared with the Licensing Inspector during the remote renewal inspection.

Submitted out of state background 7/31/2020 waiting on results currently.
