An unannounced renewal inspection was completed on 3/7/24 from 10:30am until 1:30. Staff records were reviewed at the main office on the same day. There were 6 children and 3 staff present. Three children?s records and two staff records were reviewed. Children were observed eating lunch, washing hands, and playing.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation (s) were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, the center did failed to administer prescription medication only those drugs that were dispensed from a pharmacy and maintained in the original, labeled container. Evidence: 1. There was an inhaler in the medication box in a plastic bag with the child's name on it and it was not in the original, labeled container.
Plan of Correction:
