Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on May 6, 2022 at 8:00am. There were 14 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed arriving for the morning, making crafts, drawing, playing legos and doing computer work. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Description: Based on observation not all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence:
1. A canister of aerosol disinfectant was observed on the counter of the handwashing sink.
2. A cabinet containing sanitizing wipes, aerosol air freshener, and liquid cleaner was observed to have a loosely holding bicycle lock that does not prevent the cabinet from opening when locked.
