Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 8:15 am until 9:30 am There were 43 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff training records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, making slime, working on beaded crafts, playing in the gym, participating in a practice evacuation drill, and being dismissed to class. There was a variety of age appropriate materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on a review of medication, the medication authorization was not available to staff. Evidence: Child 2 has two emergency medications present at the center. Medication #2 did not have a corresponding authorization present at the center on the date of inspection.

We will ask the parent's to provide the authorization.
