This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on May 13, 2020 and concluded on May 13, 2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 74 children present and 15 staff on the last day the center was open (March 13, 2020). There were no children in care during the inspection, as the center is closed due to COVID19. The inspector reviewed 4 children's rerecords and 4 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child care programs.
