The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. The VDOE website is ChildCareVA.com.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated on07/22/2021 and concluded on 08/05/2021. The staff was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection using FaceTime was conducted. There were 10 preschool children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition (lunch boxes were labeled and dated). A sample of two children's records and staff records were reviewed. Emergency medication was on-site for one child. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
