The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the Center Manager COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Discussion of Out-of-State background checks and the new documentation required for these staff. Existing staff grace period ends 01/01/2021.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 12/16/2020. The Center Manager was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There was (1) child present and (1) classroom staff person in the Day Care room. The inspector emailed the Center Manager a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (2) children?s records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Staff files shall be reviewed on a later date through the PRCS main office by inspectors from the Fairfax Licensing Office.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were cited.
