Technical Assistance:
Last fire inspection was conducted 03/03/2023.

Parking lot is now finished and new main entrance is now accessible for community center.

Comments:
This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 05/25/2023, between the hours of 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. There were 17 preschool children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records were reviewed. Staff records are reviewed on an annual basis through the Loudoun PRCS main office.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was 1 non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the center.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A
Description: Based on observation, an outside area showed signs of an unsafe condition.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (05/25/2023), chipped paint was visible on one small section of the climbing equipment on the school age playground in back of center.
2. This small section was located on back left platform above a yellow twist slide. Painted area can be lifted up above surface. Some paint was missing.
3. The area is accessible to children in care while using the one yellow twist slide. No children were on playground at time of observation.

Plan of Correction: Maintenance will be contacted to address this section of chipped paint.
