Certain areas of the complaint were not applicable to The code of Virginia Religious Exempt Requirements. However, best practice was discussed with regard to children with emergency medication and documentation which may be kept in each room or in a binder which can move from one area to another when children transition to different classrooms / staff.
It is strongly suggested that a log be kept of staff working special or extracurricular events to ensure that if questions arise in the future it is clear which staff might have information or details about the activity on a particular date.

An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on 12/7/2023 from 11:00 am - 2:15 pm in response to a complaint that was received in the licensing office on 11/8/2023. Ten staff records were reviewed, 3 staff were interviewed. Based on the information gathered, there was not sufficient evidence to support the allegations, so complaint is found to be not valid. There are no violations resulting from this complaint investigation.
