Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff has added a 3 hour annual update to the required 10 hour training. All staff have completed the 10 hour but need to complete the 3 hour update. Please have staff complete this updated training and place completed certificate in their record.

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on June 8, 2022. There were 44 children present with 12 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
