Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interview, and a virtual tour of the program. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/30/2021 and concluded on 10/5/2021. The Provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 11 children (37 points) present, ranging in ages from 3 months to 2 years, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 3 caregiver records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on a review of caregiver records, the Provider did not obtain a subsequent tuberculosis screening every two years from the date of the first screening for each caregiver.
Evidence: 1. Caregiver #2's most recent tuberculosis screening is dated 7/9/2019.
Plan of Correction:
She will get a new tuberculosis screening as soon as possible.
