Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. It is a teacher work day. There were 39 children present at LI arrival with two staff (out of ratio). 5 staff records were reviewed for specific items only, as the full record is reviewed at the main office at another time. All were complete. 4 child records were reviewed. All were complete. 3 medications, emergency evacuation drills, emergency supplies, labeled and dated lunch boxes and first aid supplies were all in compliance. Based on observation, the center failed to maintain a staff to child ratio of 1:18 for school age children. Evidence: At Licensing Inspector's arrival at 9:55AM, there were 39 children present with 2 staff. A third staff person was not present until 10:13AM.
