Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 7:45 am-9:15 am. There were a total of 40 children with 6 staff members present. Children were observed arriving to the program, playing board games, cards and activities in the gym. A selection of staff trainings and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on medication review, medication is not identified on the prescription label in accordance with the prescriber's instructions pertaining to dosage, frequency, and manner of administration. Evidence: The pharmacy label for child #1's medication is labeled to administer .3 mg of medication, the medication form says to administer .15mg of medication.
Plan of Correction:
We will speak with the parent about the error.
