Comments:
An unannounced health and safety inspection took place this afternoon. There were 48 children present with five staff. I observed a range of activities that kept children involved and interested: crafts, physical activity and quiet games - throughout the inspection. This inspection, combined with the previous inspection of licensing standards, meets the requirements for the SSHI inspection. Based on a review of records today, not all children with diagnosed allergies had an allergy action plan as required. Evidence: Child # 4, 5 and 6 did not have documentation of an allergy action plan that addressed the requirements. .
Plan of Correction:
We will work with the parents to get an allergy action plan accurate for each child, stating which steps to take in the event of an allergy emergency. at SACC
