8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 02-08-2022 and concluded on 02-08-2022. There were 35 children present with 5 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on a review of records, all staff do not have documentation of current CPR certification. Evidence: 1 of 5 staff records did have documentation of current CPR certification. (Staff A)

Description:
Based on a review of records, staff records do not include documentation of all required training. Evidence: 5 of 5 records reviewed did not include documentation that the Health and Safety training was done annually. There is no documentation for the course having been competed in 2020. All staff were working during that time. Staff completed the training in 2019 and 2021. (Staff A, B, C, D, E)
