8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 10/5/2022 and concluded on 10/5/2022. There were 44 children present with 4 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on a review of staff records, staff do not have a current certification in first aid within 90 days of employment. Evidence: Staff #1 has been employed over 90 days, there is no documentation that the staff has taken first aid certification.
Plan of Correction:
Staff will sign up for first aid certification class.
