Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 49 children in care, with a total of 4 staff members assigned to their direct supervision.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on management staff interviews, it was determined that staff have not created a current list of children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions. Evidence: There are various children in care with food allergies and/or dietary restrictions. Staff have not created a list indicating each child's name and specific allergy/dietary information.
Plan of Correction:
I will make the food allergy/restriction list and then post it confidentially.

Description:
Based on a review of administrative documents, it was determined that two allergy action plans were not completed. Evidence: Two children have diagnosed food allergies included in their enrollment files. The allergy care plan for each of these children has not been completed.

Description:
Based on a review of emergency preparedness items, it was determined that the emergency preparedness plan is not complete. Evidence: The center has not created a "Continuity of Operations" plan.
