Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. There were 41 children present with 3 staff members. Children were observed playing with electronics, playing card games, drawing and talking among themselves. They were also observed having morning snack which consisted of milk and cereal.. The physical plant, staff files, children's files, medications and authorizations, emergency drill logs, and attendance was inspected. Areas of non compliance were cited on the Violation Notice. Based on a review of children's records, the center failed to ensure that each child's record shall have a physical examiniation.
Evidence: Child #2's record did not include documentation of a physical examiniation.
